Sarah Tritsch 戚思雅 is the Principal of Star Jasmine and a startup mentor.
Sarah is passionate about innovation and technology and has a longstanding interest in China. With diverse international business and government experience and networks bridging Australia, China and Israel, Sarah advises dynamic companies on how to realise commercial opportunities in the global value chain of innovation.
Sarah is a startup/commercialisation mentor at Stone and Chalk, muru-D, Lakeba and UNSW Entrepreneurs. She has advised the Australia-China Business Council on innovation and agritech for the 2014 and 2016 Agritech and Food Summits. Since 2014, Sarah has been involved in the UNSW China Startup Pitching event as both a judge and a mentor.
Sarah is also a corporate advisor to Fusesport and Wattblock and is an Advisory Board member for the China Australia Millennial Project. She has advised clean energy, resource and biotechnology companies.

In 2013-14, she identified and advised innovative Israeli companies across the IT, medtech and cleantech sectors about entering the Australian market. In 2012, Sarah was part of the team which won a competitive tender to deliver the Australia-China Science and Research Knowledge Exchange Symposium on behalf of the federal Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.
Sarah has broad government experience, federally, as a diplomat and working in the Trade Minister’s office, and in the NSW Cabinet Office (State Development team leader) and Treasury. She has provided strategic advice to Government leaders and planned and managed key government trade, investment and innovation related business initiatives.
Sarah holds a MBA and has Mandarin language skills. She is a member of the NSW Australia-China Business Council’s Agri-business subcommittee, the Asia Society and the Export Council of Australia. Sarah is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Export Market Development Grant consultant.
